Artist of The Week is EYRE LLEW
Our Artist of the Week is EYRE LLEW.
Nottingham alternative-rock trio, EYRE LLEW, praised by BBC Radio 6 Music’s Chris Hawkins as “Britain’s answer to Sigur Rós”, return with their new single ‘Miningsby’.
Written during a period when vocalist Sam Heaton supported a loved one through anxiety, the track centres on the quiet act of simply being present – offering warmth without trying to fix anything.

Recorded on a piano and in a studio the band have since left behind, it carries a sense of something already gone yet deeply felt. Starting with sparse piano and soft vocals before building into a cinematic swell, the track reflects EYRE LLEW’s ability to turn intimate emotion into expansive sound.
With over 300 shows across 23 countries, a Glastonbury John Peel Stage performance, and a growing international following, the band continue to establish themselves as one of the UK’s most compelling independent acts.
