Our Artist of the Week is Hattie Whitehead.
Rising UK singer-songwriter Hattie Whitehead has dropped her most audacious single yet, ‘Machine,’ ahead of her highly anticipated debut album Bloom, out on October 4th.
Known for her powerful, outspoken voice and smart lyricism, Whitehead brings a striking blend of folk roots and modern sound to this track, merging her folk-inspired acoustic guitar with hypnotic electronic elements.

Described as ‘an ode to selfish, power-hungry people,’ ‘Machine‘ tackles greed and disillusionment. Machine is just one of the protest songs on Bloom, which touches on themes like grief, renewal and strength – inspired by Whitehead’s personal experiences.
