Our Artist of the Week is Lupercalia.
Lupercalia are a Scottish band who have quickly been making a name for themselves in the Glasgow music scene.
Since their first gig in January 2026, they’ve built a reputation for their energetic live shows, selling out headline shows at McChuills and King Tut’s, as well as supporting Brògeal for two nights at the Glasgow School of Art.
Their latest double A-side opens with ‘Bandit Country’, a fast-paced track that perfectly captures the energy they bring to a live show.

With punchy guitar riffs, a groovy rhythm section and plenty of attitude, it’s easy to see why the track has been getting such a great response. Lupercalia are definitely a band worth keeping an eye on.
