Artist Of The Week: Martha Hill
We’ve selected Martha Hill as our Artist Of The Week! After growing up in rural Scotland, she left home at 17 to tour Europe as a busker, before finally settling down in Newcastle. Her take on pop music is refreshing, working in elements of hip-hop’s swinging drums and echo-drenched guitars and horns reminiscent of indie/surf rock.
