Our Artist Of The Week is… *drumroll* Zardee!
Zardee (also known as Bigz the Host) has been the hype man and host for UK artists and influencers such as Jack Fowler and Kaz Kamwi from Love Island, Wretch 32, Krept & Konan and Big Tobz. He is an up-and-coming music artist from East London to look out for. Drawing on his Caribbean background, Zardee fuses dancehall with melodic upbeat UK hip hop, and also shows diversity with his R&B melodies and catchy choruses giving him a unique and modern style.
Listen to his latest single ‘Elements’ in collaboration with Flamin Beatz:
The track is full of airy and moody elements, and an Afrocentric beat that borrows parts from R&B and Afro house. Zardee presents snappy and memorable melody lines that will get stuck in your head as he expresses high admiration for a lady that he likes. There’s an aura of effortlessness over Zardee’s performance that gives the track a relaxing yet feel-good vibe at the same time.

When Zardee first started making music, T-Pain was one of his influencers as he felt he was different, but when it came to flows and choruses, Zardee’s inspiration came from Tory Lanez and Bryson Tiller.
With his infectious and energetic air on stage he is definitely the life of the party. He has toured with Big Tobz and hosted events for world-famous stars such as Tory Lanez and Hardy Caprio. Zardee considers himself more of an ‘entertainer’, as he showcases his talents as both a host and a musician.
