Our Artist of the Week is T.R. Burge & The Temple
Blending Manchester grit with Berlin atmosphere, T.R. Burge & The Temple craft theatrical, slow-burning songs shaped by Southern Gothic storytelling, folk-blues influences, and dreamlike arrangements.
Their debut single, ‘Eagle Fly’, is a haunting, strings-led journey inspired by themes of grief, self-discovery, and finding your own voice amid the noise of outside expectations. Recorded in Berlin with producer Martin J. Fiedler, the track combines intimate vocals, atmospheric instrumentation, and the emotional power of Aninka Rosa’s violin.

With echoes of The Brian Jonestown Massacre and the raw honesty of Mark Lanegan, ‘Eagle Fly’ introduces a band whose sound feels both deeply personal and expansively cinematic.
