Artist of the Week is Pushpin
Our Artist of the Week is Pushpin.
Pushpin is made up of four members hailing from London. Their dazzling, diverse, and mercurial stage performances have earned them invitations to venues across the UK. Their brand of psychedelic pop is solidified by their visual experimentation, with puppetry and DIY artwork embellishing their stages.
Their latest single, ‘The Dance’, is a prime example of their audacious approach to music-making. Produced by the talented Joe Futak, this hyperactive duet between vocals and percussion is a sonic kaleidoscope, featuring an array of instruments including French horn, trombone, soprano sax, and violin, among others.

According to the band, ‘The Dance’ encapsulates the realisation that someone has changed and is now embracing new things. It’s a celebration of growth and evolution, wrapped in a package that will leave you tapping your feet and pondering life’s mysteries all at once.
And if you’re itching to experience Pushpin‘s magic live, mark your calendars for the 12th of April. They’ll be headlining at The Lexington in London, where they’ll be celebrating the release of their single with support from Stepbrother and Preen.
