Our Artist of the Week is Maddison Goode.
Maddison Goode, a London-based singer-songwriter and accomplished saxophonist, is more than just an artist, she is a sonic storyteller. Drawing inspiration from musical legends like Lianne La Havas, Fleetwood Mac, and Tom Misch, Maddison’s repertoire explores themes of love, growth, and the intricate emotions entwined with the journey of self-discovery.
Armed with a guitar and saxophone, her musical journey began in 2020 and has since blossomed into a captivating narrative. Now a university student, Maddison, along with her band, is making waves with her distinctive ‘dream rock’ sound. The culmination of Maddison’s musical endeavors is her debut EP, ‘From a Windowsill’. This four-track collection, nearly two years in the making, serves as a testament to her dedication and artistry.
The EP opens with ‘When You Found Me’, her debut single, and sets the tone with its smooth guitar, rhythmic drums, and Maddison’s soulful vocals.
