Artist of the Week is Dirty Blonde
Our Artist of the Week is Dirty Blonde.
Manchester duo Dirty Blonde are quickly becoming one of the UK’s most exciting, rising, indie acts. Fronted by Ailis Mackay and Hayley Tait, the band recently won Best Breakthrough EP at the 2026 Musos Awards for ‘Looking for Trouble’ and have returned with their infectious new single, ‘Indie Sleaze’.
Listen here: ‘Indie Sleaze’
Inspired by the indie club culture of the early 2000s, ‘Indie Sleaze’ is packed with swagger, driving rhythms and dance floor-ready energy. Blending nostalgia with a fresh modern edge, the track captures the spirit of a golden era while firmly sounding like Dirty Blonde.
The band’s momentum continues to grow following a sold-out headline show at Manchester’s Deaf Institute and high-profile support slots alongside the likes of Sam Fender, Blossoms and Frank Carter.
