Our Artist of The Week is Tora Luna.
Tora Luna‘s latest single, ‘Wait For Spring’, follows their summer hit ‘The Queen of Chaos’ with a refreshing embrace of human imperfection. Recorded live in a countryside studio, the track channels a carefree spontaneity, rejecting the mechanical precision of AI-driven music. With reggae-tinged guitars and fluid rhythms, it’s a feel-good anthem for the winter-weary, tackling Seasonal Affective Disorder with warmth and wisdom.

The trio – songwriters Alex Broadgate and Dominic Johnson, along with bassist Joshua Kime – recorded the track without a click track, allowing the tempo to shift organically, creating a sound that’s alive with energy and personality. Dominic explains, “We’ll never be as precise as a machine, but we’ll always be more human.”
Tora Luna’s genre-blending style draws from influences like Talking Heads, Mac DeMarco, and Tame Impala, but their magic comes from their ability to embrace differences. Each track is a musical experiment, a vibrant mix of jangle pop, surf rock, and orchestral elements, crafted by a collective that thrives on collaboration.
