Tom Wardle
Tom Wardle is a singer, songwriter and experienced performer hailing from Nottingham and now based in Battersea, London.
Crafting his rousing stage presence over the past eight years, Tom has racked up well over a thousand gigs, taking in venues across the UK and Europe. He holds residencies at some of London’s most popular and exciting venues – including Bunga Bunga (Battersea) and The Ship (Wandsworth).
Tom’s voice has earned him praise from some of the industry’s top artists including Ronnie Wood of The Rolling Stones, who commended Tom’s single Be Another Night, and drummer-turned-producer Neil Conti (Prefab Sprout, David Bowie), who produced Tom’s latest EP, She Kissed Me. Set to be released in March 2015, he has teamed up with an acclaimed roster of musical talent including Conti on the drums, and members of Van Morrison and Jools Holland’s bands. The album was mastered at Metropolis Studio in London by Grammy-winning sound engineer Tim Young. The single She Kissed Me has already gained national radio play on BBC Radio 2 and BBC Introducing, with presenter Alex Lester calling it ‘just gorgeous’.
As a songwriter Tom has worked with Ivor Novello winner Tim Kellett (Simply Red, Olive) and Stereophonics’ producer Steve Bush, who co-wrote Tom’s song Be Another Night (2009), available on iTunes and Spotify.
Prior to She Kissed Me, Tom has produced two stand out EP’s, Another Late Night (2009) and Sweet Insanity (2012) featuring the fan favourite single Pink Lilies. The Pink Lilies video stars Hollyoaks’ gorgeous Wallis Day.
As of 2013, Tom’s vast back catalogue of songs have been licensed across Europe and around the world by Emerge Media, playing in over 8000 different venues, outlets and public spaces each day.
