Open Mind

Open Mind story began when the four school friends aged as young as five ditched the Lego and the Power Rangers in favour of musical instruments and the magic began.

Their efforts to embrace the ‘intelligent pop’ genre is not an attempt at musical subterfuge or to jump on any band wagon – these four guys believe wholeheartedly in their sound.

The band comprises Matt Alexander, 22 – lead singer and piano player; Simon Flory, 22, lead guitarist; Mat Polley, 23 rhythm guitarist/backing vocals and Gordon Speakman, 23 drums/backing vocals.
