Night House
“New Year’s Prayer, is a crushed medley of sweetened folk and bitter rock music. Each passage is gilded by lead singer Nick Williams’s falsetto vocals and a sparse electric piano which then crescendo into a soft as butter unreleased Radiohead single”
Nuit Magazine 9/10
Electronic folk act Night House is the main project of Brighton based songwriter Nick Williams. Night House have supported Ben Howard, Willy Mason, Krystle Warren and The Magic Numbers. They combine electronic textures of drum machines, synthesizers and Fender Rhodes with acoustic guitars, cello, double bass and sweeping vocal harmonies. Night House have become a regular live fixture having toured Europe three times in 2016 including a headline show at Ronnie Scott’s and a Great Escape showcase. Their debut Ep was produced by Jamie Bell (Metronomy – Assistant Producer) and they are currently working on the full album follow up with Dan Brown (Massive Attack, Karin Park).
“The Gentle undulating acoustic folk of Teitur Lassen with quintessentially British Indi pop overtones of Wild Beasts.”- XYZ Brighton
“As the piano strikes the final chord you are forced to marvel at how Night House have delicately created such a tight collection of thought-provoking songs; and they’ve done so whilst steering clear of producing the kind of contrived tearjerkers that many others attempt.” – AurallyYours.blogspot.com
