Mondegreen

A little bit about us …

Mondegreen are an indie-folk trio based in Liverpool and Chester. Described as “folk-tinged indie pop” with big harmonies inspired by a mix of artists such as Jason Isbell, Ryan Adams, Idlewild and Sheryl Crow. Started out as to two best friends gigging for years as Laura&Claire but in 2016 they were joined by Leanne (Laura’s sister who had been performing independently too) to form Mondegreen.

Mondegreen’s debut EP ‘Small Towns’, recorded with Rod Jones (Idlewild) was released in March 2017 and featured on BBC Introducing.
