Connor Roff
Canadian and British born Connor Roff blurs the lines between indie folk and pop. Fascinated by music since a young age, Roff would flick through his parent’s old records listening to anything from rock n’ roll such as The Rolling Stones, Tom Petty and Fleetwood Mac to classical music such as Pavarotti, Beethoven and Mozart.
Roff has always been a performer; singing to Pavarotti in the backseat of his parent’s car as a toddler, acting in theatre and busking on the streets of Vancouver. At 23, Roff has already performed at several festivals, completed two tours playing on-board VIA Rail’s trains across Canada, and independently released a self-titled EP.
“Roff’s voice demonstrates remarkable flexibility alternating from heartfelt fragility to soaring refrains. One of Roff’s talents is to build and sustain atmosphere throughout the EP to create a sense of a journey; apt considering the artist’s own travels.” – Gigiti
Roff moved to London last year, where he started out in the vast open mic circuit, which led to playing in legendary venues such as The Bedford and The Half Moon Putney.
Performing solo and with a support band, 2016 marks an exciting chapter of the Roff adventure, with the release of his next EP Chasing Dreams on the 1st of March followed by UK tours.
