AOTW by The Line of Best Fit – Sabella

This week’s guest curator is The Line of Best Fit, who’s choice for Artist of The Week is Sabella

19-year-old Somerset native Sabella writes lyrics inspired by the literature she loves, and as a keen storyteller, her poetic and prosaic background allows her to brandish a unique narrative voice.  Her track “Made It Right” features a virtuosic pop vocal delivery juxtaposed with mellow electronic production.  The track is full of great hooks in both the instrumentation and vocals, with a chorus that leaves you wanting more.

The Line of Best Fit described it as:
“A glistening, breathy wisp of sad-pop gold. Sabella’s peppered the three-and-a-half-minute track with R&B vocals, skewed samples and a liberal lacquer of echoes, and it provides an extended example of her high-flying abilities behind the mic.”
