Our Artist of the Week is The Grand Old Echo.
The London trio have landed spins on BBC Radio 2, RTÉ Radio 1, and BBC Introducing, plus a Channel 4 primetime feature – impressive milestones for an unsigned act.
Best known for their off-kilter fusion of folk and rap, the band now turn to bluegrass with an Essex twist on their new single, ‘If The Sun Explodes Tomorrow’. The track swells from a slow, cinematic intro into a high-energy stomp, layered with clawhammer banjo, mandolin, fiddle, and their signature triple harmonies.
