Our Artist of the Week is Georgia Alexandra.
On January 17th, Georgia Alexandra released ‘Need Somebody’, an emotional ballad that reflects on life’s messy, lonely moments, and the search for connection. “I’ve always been a sucker for sad songs”, Georgia shares, “and I’m thrilled to add this one to my catalogue.”

Blending husky vocals with introspective songwriting, the track channels Taylor Swift, Lewis Capaldi, and late 2000s pop influences. Following millions of streams on EDM collaborations, Georgia shifted focus to her solo work, earning recognition on BBC Introducing and attending the JBL x Martin Garrix Music Academy in 2023.
As she prepares to release her debut album later this year, ‘Need Somebody’ highlights Georgia’s emotive storytelling and growing presence in the indie pop scene.
