Artist of The Week – Rebecca Clements

This week’s ‘Artist of The Week’ is South-West born artist Rebecca Clements.  Her track ‘Spiral’ caught our attention.

Upon first listen Clements’ voice draws comparisons to Florence Welch.  However, it soon becomes apparent that this isn’t just a pastiche.  Instead of ‘epic’ sounding drums we are presented with more delicate instrumentation, reverb drenched guitar riffs and intricate production closer resembling Lana Del Ray or Norwegian artist Emilie Nicolas.  ‘Spiral’ is an atmospheric affair, with beautiful long melodic vocal lines majestically bouncing between choruses.  Take a listen:
