Their track Priestess is a rousing 7 1/2 minute affair that builds throughout, touching on a number of different musical genres and climaxing with solos from saxophone and guitar. Instrumentation in the verses is stripped back allowing the vocal space to glide over the top.
The great thing about this song is each time you think you have a handle on what’s coming next you are greeted with a pleasant surprise. Whether it’s the Chemical Brothers style dance rhythms, etherial guitar sounds or the entry of the tenor sax solo, ‘Priestess’ takes many twists and turns, culminating in what feels like an improvised live track.
